- Cable secures a winter pool cover to an above ground pool. Run the cable through the perimeter of the pool cover, then use a winch to tighten the cable and secure the cover. The cable is heavy-duty and wrapped in plastic. Will not work for pop up pools, only for pools with a top rail. 100' cable fits up to 24'. 135' cable for 27' and over.
